Soul Surf School is dedicated to making a positive impact in our local community by actively supporting school programs, charitable organisations, and inspiring events. We believe in giving back and are proud to partner with various groups to promote a better wider community. Our partnerships allow us to contribute to the well-being of our local areas and make a difference in the lives of others. By working together with schools, organisations, and events, we aim to create meaningful experiences and opportunities for everyone involved. Charity Groups
Soul Surf School travels each year in their vintage car and stops at regional towns, stopping into schools and organisations to visit the kids donated funds they have raised to local communities in need. We get to see the direct impact of their fundraising efforts along the way, with a range of educational, health and mobility equipment that is provided to local schools and organisations enroute.
The event is all about having fun in support of Aussie kids. A variety Bash takes place in each state across Australia, with two in NSW; the Variety B to B Bash, and the Variety NSW Bash.
Make-A-Wish is one of the most trusted Australian children’s charities, granting wishes in Australia since 1985.We offer free surf lessons to all children and siblings who apply!
At Starlight we know that happiness matters to sick kids facing the pain, fear and stress of serious illness.
East Coast Care Connect
The Little Legends Summit is a program that brings professional facilitators in health, wellness, and sporting fields together to deliver a tailored program for youth living in the Ballina Shire. The program instils participants with a sense of community, positive emotions and provides skills that will allow them to begin to self-regulate mental health and alleviate mental pressures. The chosen activities are all proven methods of relief for trauma, anxiety, and stress with local kids in the community.
Local Schools
Byron Bay High School
We offer free surfboards for surf training for all students and discounted lessons we also offer our surf shop (4/14 Bay St Byron Bay) as a safe zone for any local student they are always welcome to come and charge their phones or use ours to call parents at anytime .
Emmanuel College Ballina
We run discounted student lessons for all Emmanuel students when we run term programs in conjunction with Emmanuel
Local Sporting clubs
We proudly support the Senior and junior Byron Bay Rugby League Club by donating our surf school buses to run teams to regional games and also coaching the junior sides. Please see the links below if anyone is looking to sign their child up to the Byron Bay – Lennox Head Junior rugby league clubs.
LE-BA
LEBA – Lennox Head Ballina Boarders Club is one of the biggest producers of some of the worlds best surfers and we are proud to sponsor the club with prizes and the use of our vans to regional surfing contests.
