At Soul Surf School, we believe that surfing should be accessible to everyone. We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where all guests can enjoy the waves. From booking to your lesson to getting you out into the waves for the first time, our team is dedicated to tailoring your experience to meet your needs and ability, ensuring that everyone can share the stoke of surfing.
When You Book
When making a booking, you’ll be asked to provide any special requirements, including accessibility needs. Our online booking platform, Rezdy that is integrated into our website, makes it easy for you to communicate your special needs for your lesson. This allows our staff to prepare and tailor your experience right from the start.
Before Your Lesson
Before your lesson, we will send you updates regarding departure times, meeting points, directions, parking options, and what to bring. Accessible parking for wheelchairs is available right outside our surf school and at nearby beaches. We also have access to a beach wheel chair if required.
Surf Lessons
Our surf lessons are designed to be inclusive for everyone. We offer private lessons at wheelchair-accessible locations like Main Beach or The Pass, which can be accessed via a boat ramp. If you have an assistance animal, they are welcome at Belongil Beach.
We also provide specialised surf lessons for disability groups and partner with many inclusive companies that cater to individuals of all abilities.
